Synopsis

Its a story of an army doctor and a christian girl. The doctor wanted to be an iconociast but ends up in becoming an idol himself.

Dr. Kubera arrives at a remote village to take over a hospital that has so far been run by a pharmacist who naturally resents the doctor. He has held sway over the village with his "quack" remedies, coupled with village superstition. The road into the town is blocked by a rock which is reputed to hold a malevolent spirit. The villagers will not remove it and this symbolises all the ills besetting the village.
