He has performed with stalwarts such as Sitara Devi, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Ustad Allah Rakha Khan, Pandit Jasraj, Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammed Rafi amongst others. He has not only been honoured by the Prime Minister of Mauritius but has also received the prestigious award 'Taal Shri' in 1986 and 'Tal Vilas' in 1996.
