Plot

India has conservative people who generally get married to individuals who are chosen by their parents, otherwise known as an arranged marriage. Confronted by the ideals of a modernized culture versus that of traditional ideals, a young man must decide if he should get married to the girl he loves or the one that his parents prefer. Directed and co-written by Punit Malhotra and starring Imran Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is a comedy romance film about a man who after returning from America with a friend who studied with him, finds out that his parents are planning his marriage with a girl who he doesn't even know. He must now decide if he should pledge the eternal vow of love to the girl he loves or the one that is proposed by his stubborn parents.
