Plot
------
Get set to rock your brains with this rib-tickling comedy. Truly, Mr Garagasa (a slang in Kannada for garrulous person) stands out as excellent movie and leaves you craving for more. Although it?s inspired by Bheja Fry, director Dinesh Baboo has successfully brought in native creativity to the movie.
Anantnag (Parthasarthy) a film producer, is left alone in the house after he hurts his back but has the company of Komal (Muniya), a story writer. The movie shows Anantnag being traumatised by Komal, who wants his story to be made into a movie. Komal?s opera-style narration of the story leaves Anantnag terrorised and audience chortling. It is also fun to hear the various ?formulae? adopted by writers, directors and producers in order to make a movie appealing.
Meanwhile, Anantnag who doesn?t have a cordial relation with his second wife Aishwarya (Madhavi) and daughter Lakshmi Hegde (Teju) is further drawn into scepticism by his wife Aishwarya, thanks to the series of confusion created by the confused Komal. But Komal successfully solves the confusion and turns out to be a blessing in disguise for the family which is torn apart by egoism, mistrust and individuality. He is also successful in reuniting Nagabharna (Sharat), a director and a friend of Anantnag with his estranged wife Sudharani (Gouri) with his blunt but ingenuous remarks on the intricacies of the relationship. The climax of the movie is not only intriguing but also laden with loads of messages.
Komal perfectly epitomises the motor-mouth character in the movie and has also proved that he is a good comedian as well as an actor. The performance of seasoned actors like Anantnag, Nagabharna and Sudharani is a delight to watch. The dialogues by Rajendra Karant are crisp and replete with witty repartee. The dialogues have dangerous proportions of double meaning but the usage is restricted. It?s a clean entertainer.
