Plot

Raja (Shivarajkumar) is the Bus Conductor who would have come from his village to the city for search of a job. He has a large family to look after and he reserved a major portion of his earnings to the benefit of his family in the village. Gauri, the daughter of a rich man, likes raja's good-humored nature and helping mentality. Gauri persuades Raja to marry her and encounters stiff opposition from her father. Raja and Gauri lead a normal life, but face many obstacles to continue a harmonious relationship. Some small tensions in the family lead to the separation of the couple. Then both husband and wife realize that they cannot live separately and are united again. Their bond of love wins over the petty family squabbles.
