Plot
This movie is about the life and times of lazy brat, a drunkard, jobless guy named Manjunatha (a.k.a Manja). Another important character is a blind person named Naani (played by Tabla Naani) who wishes to be a movie director. Naani does not believe that his physical disability (blindness) could stop him from achieving his dreams. The characters Manja and Naani form contrasting personalities - Manja being an unmotivated, lazy and irresponsible guy and Naani being optimistic and ambitious. Naani happens to meet Manja in a very interesting scenario. Even with their contrasting personalities, Manja and Naani get along together pretty well. Despite his wife trying her best to reform him, Manjunatha does not change and continues with his wayward habits. Rest of the movie showcases the life of Manja as described by Manja himself to Naani, in a satirical and comedic manner. Manja narrates his life's interesting events right from his childhood to his marriage. Manja says that he lived for himself and never cared for anybody else, even his wife or parents. He admits that he agreed for marriage only for one reason - he was getting a small house as dowry! What would it take to change Manja? Would Naani be able to change Manja, by his optimism? Would Manja learn from his past mistakes? Would Manja repent for all the misery he directly or indirectly caused?
