Plot

Siva (Madhavan) travels from Srirangam to Chennai to join a college. He spots Priya (Meera Jasmine) on a bus and falls instantly in love with her. He later discovers that Priya is the sister of Bhaskar (Atul Kulkarni), a feared local thug who is fiercely protective of her and attacks anyone who dares to look at her. Despite the danger, Siva decides to pursue his love. Meanwhile, Siva's friend Mohan (Vivek) arrives in Chennai and faces a series of hilarious misfortunes. The rest of the story follows how Siva uses his wits and brawn to outsmart Bhaskar and win Priya's hand.
