The deeds of a dishonest man lead three children from a family to be raised by different foster parents. The children grow up in Muslim, Christian and Hindu households respectively.
Paavamannippu, received the National Film Award for Second Best Feature Film, becoming the first South Indian film to do so. The film achieved cult status in Tamil cinema.

Pava Mannippu Movie Plot
The film revolves around the theme of religious harmony with the central characters belonging to Hindu, Muslim and Christian communities. Four children are separated from their parents in childhood. They are then found and raised by foster parents of different religious backgrounds. The rest of the film shows how the children reunite with their biological parents.
