Plot
Dharma Durai (Rajinikanth) is a respected landlord who dotes on his two younger brothers, Ramadurai (Nizhalgal Ravi) and Balu (Charan Raj). He sacrifices his own desires to ensure they get a good education and high-status jobs. However, after the brothers marry, their wives and greedy fathers-in-law poison their minds against Dharma Durai. Betrayed by the very people he nurtured, Dharma Durai is framed for theft and driven out of his home. While he starts a new life with Parvathi (Gautami), his brothers fall into a trap set by their in-laws. The film concludes with Dharma Durai returning to save his ungrateful brothers and reunite the family.
