Synopsis
Vishwa Prasad, an MLA who lives in Shingeri comes to Bangalore to see an old friend who has an electrical business. There has been a short-circuit in the electrical system in his house, and he wants his friend to rewire the whole house, before the wedding of his daughter, Jamuna, twenty days hence. It seems that Jamuna has some leg problem, which we learn later was caused by a road accident, and that the Doctor treating her is in love with her, and wants to marry her, and take her to America for further treatment. His friend assigns the work to his son, Harsha (Prajwal Devaraj), an graduate Electrical Engineer, who goes unwillingly, with a team of four colleagues. On the way, they met two somewhat malicious mischief-mongering sisters, Ganga (Sunaina) and Thunga (Gayathri), who turn out to be the daughters of the MLA?s brother, and who live as part of the joint family. Harsha meets the sick Yamuna, who is always sad ? he gives her room a complete ?makeover?, which delights her, and brings the smile back to her face, the smile her father has not seen for a long time. As a result, he wins the hearts of everyone in the family. Comedy in the film is provided by one of Harsha?s assistants (Bullet Prakash), who keeps phoning his wife, who is having an affair, and always has to pretend she is doing something else, and imitating the voices of the people she says she is with, including a dog!
Harsha has fallen deeply in love with Ganga, and he takes pictures of her on his mobile phone, which she discovers. Thunga is annoyed that there are no pictures of her. Ganga tells him she is not interested in him. However, Thunga tells Harsha that she loves him, but he is not interested. Harsha tries unsuccessfully to woo Ganga, and is aided by Pinky, the youngest daughter in the family. Finally, Ganga tells Harsha that she loves him, but was afraid to express it because her sister Thunga. She tells him that ever since they were children, everything that she has had and has liked, has been snatched away by Thunga. She tells them that she and her sister are responsible for Yamuna?s accident, because they wrote letters to a rowdy, Prakash, who loved Yamuna, pretending they were from Yamuna. Prakash kidnapped Yamuna, and when she ran away, she ran into a road, and was knocked down by a lorry. Harsha is happy that Ganga loves him, but is later devastated when he overhears a conversation between the two sisters, in which Ganga tells Thunga that she does not love him at all. Thunga then sets out to get Harsha, and after he has left, she disappears, then phones home to say that she and Harsha have eloped, then turns up at Harsha?s home. So we have Harsha who love Ganga, and Thunga who is determined to marry Harsha, and the two families who want him to marry Thunga, otherwise they will lose their honour. How will Harsha solve his problems, and who will he marry? Watch the film to find out.

Review
I enjoyed this film, directed by Sadhu Kokila, who also wrote the music. He is well known for his comedy roles. The songs are lovely ? not only is Sadhu Kokila a good comedy actor, a good director, but also a great music writer. This is a delightful youthful romance film, a love triangle with several twists in the story, which make it unusual. Bullet Prakash provides the comedy, with his frequent phone-calls to his wife. It is a film well worth watching.

? Iddad Iddang Heltini Keli? is recorded as the electricians travel from Bangalore to Shringeri. How on earth did they manage to find such a motorway devoid of traffic for so long? The second song, ?Jaadu Jaadu?, shows some of the beauties of Karnataka ? the Karnataka landscapes, with the hills, mists and waterfalls, and not just the two beautiful girls, Ganga and Thunga! The remaining songs are set in Thailand. The music is lovely, the dancing and picturisation are excellent.
